Christopher "Couch Coach" Powell is a Richmond-based sports media personality and the creator of Couch Coach Live, a fan-first sports podcast launched in 2014. After building a reputation as a contributor on The P Show and co-host of The Ballin' Out Show, Chris created Couch Coach Live to give passionate fans a platform that reflects their voice, where every listener feels like they’re part of the game.


For over a decade, Chris has used Couch Coach Live to delve deeply into the world of sports, covering everything from local college programs, such as the University of Richmond, Virginia Commonwealth University, and Virginia Union, to major national headlines in the NFL and NBA. Known for his relatable commentary, sharp insights, and meaningful interviews, Chris became a trusted and respected figure in independent sports media.
